Home for tomorrow
Today YenegeTesfa has several shelters for kids between 8 and 17 years old. They live together here as one big family. Each shelter has a shelter dad to look up to, a mom whom makes them feel at home and a big sister and brother to learn from.
Access to a stable, adequate home plays a major role in the health and wellbeing of the children. Providing a safe environment will secure participation in social, educational and economical activities. In the years at the shelter the children will be taught all the skills they will need to live a good life once they turn 18. In the meantime, YenegeTesfa provides medical support, schooling and psychological attention.
Sheltering an child cost around 1500,- Euro per year.
